Andy Bowen received his Master of Science degree specializing in Physical Therapy from Regis University in Denver, CO in 1999. His past physical therapy work experience began in Boulder, CO working with Mark Plaatjes PT, 1993 World Champion Marathon runner, at his running specialty clinic where he gained experience regarding manual therapy techniques for treatment of orthopedic injuries and biomechanical analysis using slow motion video. He enjoys running, cycling, and skiing in the Green Mountain State and understands the importance of keeping you active, healthy and ultimately happy.
Eric Elsinger completed his Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Springfield College in Springfield, MA in 1997. Since that time Eric has worked solely in outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine settings transitioning from the corporate level to a university based teaching hospital and eventually private practice. In addition to the aforementioned clinical experience, Eric was certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, National Strength and Conditioning Association in 1996. Eric has additional interests and expertise in the assessment, rehabilitation and training of lower extremity biomechanics specific to running and cycling. Outside of work, Eric attempts to maintain a balance of family time and fitness in individual pursuits such as running, cycling, skiing. Eric understands the importance of injury rehabilitation and prevention in terms of maintaining a balance of health and wellness.
Christine Hagan received her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2006 from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. She started working in orthopedics at Massachusetts General Hospital as an intern in the fall of 2005 and remained there until January of 2011 when she moved to the Green Mountain State. She received her lymphedema certification in 2007, which she has utilized in the treatment of both oncology and orthopedic populations. Christine played soccer and basketball for four years at Colby College. She now focuses on running and loves competing in local road races. In addition to treating general orthopedic conditions, she has a passion for running biomechanics, sports medicine, and injury prevention among athletes. She is excited to be a part of the Green Mountain Rehab & Sports Medicine team and enjoys helping people achieve their rehab goals.
Heather Ransom completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2008 from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. She also received her certification as an orthopedic manual therapist in 2015 through the Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy in Woburn, MA. Heather worked at Borston's Brigham and Women's Hospital from 2008 until November 2015, when she moved back to her home state of Vermont. With a passion for running, she fits right in with the Green Mountain Rehab & Sports Medicine team. She has run several marathons including NYC, Chicago, Boston, and the Vermont City Marathon. She is excited to bring her professional experience back to her home state and to help her patients regain and continue to build strength to their desired level.
Susan Foerster has worked as the practice manager at Green Mountain Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine since 2008. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Saint Michael's College in 2004.
