Proper footwear often times can eliminate the cost and need for orthotics. We use a number of clinical tests, including slow motion video analysis, to help you purchase the bio-mechanically correct shoe. In some cases, the shoe may not be soft or stable enough.
Custom orthotic intervention may be the alternative solution to assist in absorbing the ground reaction force or correct excessive pronation, with the rearfoot and forefoot varus posting as needed.
We specialize in many types of orthotics based on specific foot types ranging from pediatrics to the geriatric diabetic foot. We also can design the orthotic to fit your specific needs for instance; walking shoe, dress shoe, ski boots, athletic cleats, and of course many running shoe orthotics for training and/or race day competition (very light weight orthotic).
